Health Informatics, Advanced Graduate Certificate
To earn a certificate, students must complete the following six courses:

|CIS 417-DL||Database Systems Design & Implementation|
|MHI 401-DL||American Health Care System|
|MHI 402-DL||Introduction to Clinical Thinking|
|Any two additional MHI courses|
|Fundamentals of Health Informatics|
|Health Care Organization Operations|
|HIT Standards and Interoperability|
|Decision Support Systems and Health Care|
|Legal, Ethical, and Social Issues|
|Information System Acquisition & Lifecycle|
|Consumer Digital Health|
In some cases, students who have completed equivalent coursework previously may be allowed to replace the required course with another course in the field.
Please note that courses completed in the certificate program cannot be transferred to the corresponding graduate degree.
