Certificate Requirements

The following requirements are in addition to, or further elaborate upon, those requirements outlined in The Graduate School Policy Guide.

Certificate

Total Units Required: 5

The Graduate Certificate in Classical Latin, recognizes advanced philological training in Latin and requires five courses in total, no more than two of which can be in the student’s PhD department. At least two must be sections of LATIN 310-0 Readings in Latin Literature and/or LATIN 400-0 Medieval Latin.
