Degree Requirements

The following requirements are in addition to, or further elaborate upon, those requirements outlined in The Graduate School Policy Guide.

BS/MS

Recommended Undergraduate Coursework 

Undergraduates intending to apply to the BS/MS program are strongly encouraged to complete these courses in the undergraduate curriculum:

• COMP_ENG 203-0 Introduction to Computer Engineering or COMP_ENG 303-0 Advanced Digital Design
• COMP_ENG 205-0 Fundamentals of Computer System Software or COMP_SCI 213-0 Introduction to Computer System
• COMP_SCI 211-0 Programming in Systems-Level Languages

MS Requirements

Total Units Required for the Master's Degree: 12

• The degree requirements are the same as those outlined for the Computer Engineering MS. 
• Courses used to fulfill bachelor's degree requirements may not be used to fulfill requirements for the master's degree.
