Placement in more advanced courses in the curriculum is possible based on the student’s level of proficiency, which is assessed by program instructors prior to course registration. Students who qualify for third-year courses at Northwestern must complete at least two intermediate courses in SPS to qualify for a certificate. For students who qualify for advanced or third-year courses, a minimum of four courses is required for the awarding of a certificate.
The start time for this program is fall quarter.
