Civil and Environmental Engineering BS/MS
Degree Requirements
The following requirements are in addition to, or further elaborate upon, those requirements outlined in The Graduate School Policy Guide.
BS/MS
Total Units Required for the Master's Degree: 12
The degree requirements are the same as those outlined for the Civil and Environmental Engineering MS.
Other Requirements:
- The combination of BS and MS degree for all specializations in CEE allows credit for no more than three 300-level course units fulfilling the BS degree requirements towards the 12 units required for the MS degree. The selection of the specific courses from the BS coursework to be credited towards the master's study plan must receive prior approval of the area coordinator of the selected area of specialization.
- Combined degree students pursuing the Bachelor of Science with an Environmental Engineering and Science specialization may receive credit for CIV_ENV 361-1 Environmental Microbiology, CIV_ENV 365-0 Environmental Laboratory, and CIV_ENV 367-0 Chemical Processes in Aquatic Systems towards Master of Science with an Environmental Engineering and Science specialization.
