A student who wishes to transfer from one program to another within The Graduate School must submit an online application (making sure to respond accurately to the first page of questions) no less than two weeks before the start of the winter, spring and summer quarters and no less than four weeks before the start of the fall quarter. Programs may require supporting materials in order to consider the request. Approval is granted by The Graduate School in consultation with the program into which the student is requesting a transfer. University funding awarded by the student's current program does not follow the student to the new program.
